Art Deco Flapper Beads Necklace
Description and Item Information
Up for sale is this fabulous, vintage beaded necklace. Please excuse the glare in the photos. There is no clasp; if you measure the continuous interior wearable length of the necklace, it is about 33 inches long. The dangling tassel, is approximately 3 1/2 inches long. The length from the tassel tip to the opposite end (which would be the back of the necklace) when the necklace is laid out flat is approximately 20 inches. This piece consists of amber- or topaz-colored glass beads of several sizes and shapes. There are knots in between the beads. It weighs 2.0 ounces, unpacked. It would be a wonderful addition to a collection of art deco fashion.
Identification
This vintage piece has no markings. It is circa 1920s. The beads are likely of Bohemian or Czech origin.
Condition
The necklace looks very good overall, with light wear. The beads are not cracked; under close inspection, I found a few tiny flakes to some of the beads (these do not detract, in my opinion). Minor irregularities in shape are as made. Please review the photos, and ask any questions you may have prior to bidding or buying.

1. Payments
Taxes may be applicable. The correct shipping address must be included with payment. Contact the seller before bidding or buying to find out about acceptable payment methods for local pickups or deliveries. Payments must be received within three days of the end of the listing, unless prior arrangements have been made.
2. Shipping
Good packaging is included; double-boxing is not necessarily included. Framed art will not be shipped unframed. The seller usually ships on Mondays and Thursdays. The merchandise will normally be shipped on the seller's next shipping day after payment clears. The seller is not responsible for the transit time once the merchandise has been accepted by the shipping carrier.
Shipping includes delivery to a physical address via a method of the seller's choice. If the buyer prefers a different shipping method other than that chosen by the seller, or if delivery is to a post office box, additional shipping costs may be required. At the seller's discretion, a signature may be required for delivery.
Shipping quotes must be requested prior to all international bidding or buying. For international shipping, there may be parcel size restrictions or prohibitions on certain classes of merchandise. Customs forms will not be falsified.
International buyers, please note: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when the item is picked up; do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. The seller does not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as gifts. U.S. and international government regulations prohibit such behavior.
