    This necklace belonged to my grandmother, who was born in 1885.
    My mother, born in 1915, highly prized it when she inherited it in the 1930's.
    It's carved and dyed rosewood, with simulated pearl enhancements.
    It's 20 inches long, with a spring ring (bronze) fastener.
